I'm Miss Winn and I am so excited to be your child's second grade teacher this school year!
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. This will be my fourth year teaching and my second year teaching second grade at Reggio. Before coming to Reggio, I taught third grade for one year at GEHMS, another CREC Magnet school. My very first year of teaching was right here in Avon teaching second grade at Pine Grove! I LOVE teaching second grade :)
As a student in my classroom you can expect that your child will be loved and held to high expectations. I want all children who enter my room to make great strides, but they can only do so when they are confident in themselves. Our classroom will be a trusting and safe learning community where students can take risks to maximize their learning experience!
The purpose of this blog is to keep you informed of classroom happenings. It will be updated weekly with newsletters (see the tabs above) and special events. In addition, you and your child will be able to use this site for links to safe and educational websites.
